Wow! We went to bed last night knowing that we'd be waking up to massive amounts of snow...and we were right! So far, Chicago has accumulated more than 20 inches of snow and it's still snowing. This blizzard is the 3rd largest in Chicago's history. Phil couldn't shovel out either of our cars, so he is home having an "adult snow day"!
We decided to take Lucy outside to enjoy the snow and trust me, she sure did. We thought we had lost her when she jumped in to a gigantic snow drift, but she found her way out.
Enjoy the pictures Phil took this morning along with the videos (sorry that they are sideways).

I love the commentary! Stay warm. :)
ReplyDeleteWe get 4 inches of snow and schools are closed for a week. I bet you're having fun. Be safe. Hold on to the baby for a couple more days until some of the snow melts.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! What a beautiful sight! We have about 6 inches and just as pretty. Stay safe!! Love MOM(Leah)
ReplyDeleteThe one with the snow on the stairs looks like a big puff of marshmallow. I just want to take a big bite out of it! Yum!
ReplyDeleteLeigh Anne...you are making me nervous being out in that snow. Baby B is gonna want to come out to play too!!! And Phil...great job on the videos. My neck hurts a little from looking sideways but I still enjoyed seeing a bit of history!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhy is Rebecca always thinking about eating sweets?
