Yay! It's Spring!

We are all so excited that winter has disappeared and that spring it finally here! We, as a family, have a lot of fun things planned for this warm season. We will be gardening in our community garden again this year and are so excited to eat fresh produce throughout the spring and summer. We won't be planting nearly as many different kinds of vegetables this year, as some just didn't grow as well as others, but we're excited for tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, lettuce, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, green and banana peppers, strawberries, and raspberries. If you're in the neighborhood and would like to stop by for a fresh, homegrown salad, give us a call!

We are also excited to start taking family walks on Lake Shore Drive. Poor Lucy has been cooped up in the house all winter and misses her long family walks, so we'll be heading to Lake Michigan often to enjoy the warmth and get some much needed exercise.

The zoo is also calling our name! We'll be headed there to introduce Landon to all the animals. We're excited!

Here are some pictures we've captured during the past few weeks. Can you believe that Little Man is 6 weeks old already?  Where has the time gone?  I feel as if I just got home from the hospital yesterday!

  2. Um... that's an awful lot of stuff for a garden that's not getting as much planted this year!!! I hope your garden is plentiful and provides you many good meals!!
